“After everything we’ve been through with miscarriages and IVF we’re beyond blessed and know we are uber lucky for this miracle to happen to us. We’re just so happy that we can finally tell you guys the good news 🥹,” Murgatroyd wrote.
Murgatroyd and Chmerkovskiy are already parents to sons Rio and Shai, 7.
Just days after son Rio’s birth, the couple exclusively introduced the little one via PEOPLEand revealed his name.“We loved Rio, which we came upon at the last minute. It’s a perfect complement to our long surname!" Murgatroyd said at the time. “We also wanted something easy to say with Shai.”
In September, Murgatroyd and Chmerkovskiy chatted with PEOPLE exclusively aboutlife as a newly minted family of fourafter welcoming son Rio in June.
“It’s been amazing,” Murgatroyd said of their transition to a family of four. “I mean, so busy, chaotic at times, but amazing and beautiful. I just love this stage. I mean, it’s so precious. It’s so delicate and you don’t ever get these stages back.”
“So I’m leaning into just being super present and being there for my boys,” the pro dancer said. “We’re a house full of boys right now. We really thought he was a girl though. We really did.”
“We wanted him to be a girl,” Chmerkovskiy agreed as Murgatroyd added, “He’s our special boy.”
