Facebook ad scamming is on the rise , unsurprising for a site gaining a vast user infrastructure — what is surprising , if the allegation prove true , is Facebook ’s complicity in allowing the dodgy advertizing .
Tech Crunch‘s Michael Arrington believes that Facebook is attend the other way because it does n’t want to lose the taxation . He points out popular game Farmville : “ it took me about 10 seconds to find really scammy ad . ”
Of course Facebook is inexorable that it ’s doing everything it can to turn back scams . In an email exchange with Newsweek , Facebook spokesman David Swain stated “ We have , and will continue to , move aggressively to stop any activities that threaten or damage our users ’ experience . Any assertion to the reverse is assumed . ” Policing and clip cozenage containing ads will be a challenge for Facebook as it grows , though it would be a good melodic theme to tackle the problem now while it ’s still accomplishable .

I ca n’t wait to see how this plays out in theFacebook moving picture . [ Newsweek ]
