Despite the “ free ” and “ unfastened ” buzzword bandy about during the G1 launching , app developers bear to make a good deal of money the program — that is , when theAndroid Marketplacelets them . Google should work out a defrayment system of rules soon , but until then Handango , who already sell apps for virtually every other mobile political platform , is planning on running their own petty market place , complete with real monies . Though the prescribed Android memory board will only launch with innocent apps , unlike the iPhone the G1 ( or any Android phone ) has no restriction on sideloading apps , so alternative sources are essentially cosher . Handango claim that they ’ll have about 100 for - remuneration apps ready for the G1 ’s October 22nd launch , and that they ’ll tolerate one - off , monthly and annual billing alternative . Despite all the flash , they have n’t announced any of the apps that we ’ll apparently be so excited to pay for , and I ’d imagine most developers willjust waituntil Google implements their own payment organization . But hey , the markets , or something .
