ArtistsJulian CharriereandJulius von Bismarckdevised a rooftop pigeon - paint apparatus to spruce up some of Venice ’s flee verman . The bird flies into the setup grey and olive drab - looking , then it is sent down a conveyer whang and automatically airbrushed with vibrantly - colored sprayer blusher , before it ’s beam back out into the world look more alien parrot than common city pigeon .
