Sho ’ ’nuff , it turns out to be a hoax . The intrepid mythbusters at Snopes.com ( in gain to many of our Giz readers ) tried the antic and applied a bit of keen scientific expertness to the problem , and learn it to be untrue . bad to get your Hope up . As for this TV , well , the guy must be palming some glow joint ooze and slipping it into the bottle , or it could be a simple edit or off - television camera exchange .
