Does n’t the 2d “ A ” in “ AT - ACT ” base for “ Armored ? ” There must have been a reasonably substantial improvement in armour technology between the AT - ATs of The Empire Strikes Back and AT - ACTs of Rogue One , or a vast devolution in arm capability of the Rebels in that time .
