This has been more or less prescribed for eld now , but Edgar Wright offer one last bit of confirmation that his Ant - Man undertaking is n’t connected to The Avengers , and Ant - Man wo n’t appear in Joss Whedon ’s moving-picture show :
“ The matter is , the script that I ’ve written … the chronology of it or the way it works would n’t really fit in with what [ The Avengers ] do . And my picture is very much an introduction to [ Ant - Man ] , and so it was n’t something where it felt correct to introduce him in [ Whedon ’s ] film . ”

Writer Joe Cornish – who is presently winning rave reviews for his pic Attack the Block – says they ’ve delivered the second draft of the handwriting , and he will be talking it over with co - author and director Edgar Wright in the very nigh future .
Edgar Wright also explained the tenacious rambling road they ’ve traveled on this project :
“ We kinda have a stock reply now , it ’s true to say we ’ve been writing it in some form . Weirdly , the discussion for ‘ Ant - Man ’ survive before Marvel Studios . There was a handling that Joe and I did when Artisan had the sort of lower - rung Marvel properties and we write a treatment for it that exists before ‘ Hot Fuzz ’ . fundamentally , when I adjoin Kevin Feige I suppose , ‘ Oh , did you ever get our ‘ Ant - Man ’ discourse ? ’ and he had never read it so we reconcile it properly like four years later . So it ’s something me and Joe have genuinely been working on for intimately a decennium and at some point we ’ll finish the handwriting . ”

Here ’s a fresh released high - res promo pic .

Here ’s a new promo exposure .
Peter Jackson explains why they ’re make the jump to shooting the Hobbit picture show in 48 frames per secondment :

We are indeed shooting at the high frame rate . The key thing to understand is that this process requires both shooting and projecting at 48 fps , rather than the usual 24 Federal Protective Service ( films have been take at 24 frame per mo since the late 1920 ’s ) . So the solvent looks like normal f number , but the double has enormously enhance clarity and blandness . look at 24 chassis every second gear may seem ok — and we ’ve all seen K of films like this over the last 90 geezerhood — but there is often quite a tidy sum of blur in each physique , during fast movements , and if the tv camera is moving around chop-chop , the image can judder or “ strobe . ”
Shooting and projecting at 48 fps does a quite a little to get free of these issues . It look much more lifelike , and it is much easier to catch , especially in 3 - D. We ’ve been watching HOBBIT tests and daily at 48 fps now for several months , and we often posture through two hours Charles Frederick Worth of footage without find any centre strain from the 3 - D. It expect great , and we ’ve actually become used to it now , to the point that other film experiences reckon a little archaic .
There ’s much , much more to Jackson ’s explanation at the link . [ Facebook ]

Elijah Wood says he will shoot his scene as Frodo Baggins in either November or December . He also explained what excites him about the project :
There ’s a pot of newfangled elements to this . They ’re shooting on the Red [ camera ] . They ’re shooting in 3D , so that should be interesting . And I ’m delirious to read the script . I ’m very delirious to see what they ’ve done with “ The Hobbit . ” They ’ve unfold it out over the course of two motion-picture show – I ’m so curious as to what other element they ’ve woven in , because there are certainly additional works that refer to that same fourth dimension period that they could weave into it . So I ’m just very excited to sort of see what the ultimate imagination is . I was down there about a yr ago , February , and I saw some of the innovation . This is when Guillermo [ del Toro ] was still attached . So I ’ve seen a lot of the design study . I mean , it ’s extraordinary ! And Alan Lee and John Howe are back in the artistic production section doing designs for it . I think it ’s rifle to feel very familiar , and different as well .

Michael Bay debunk a fan theory that the car go to Rosie Huntington - Whiteley ’s theatrical role Carly is really Soundwave . His account was almost refreshing in its shameless incarnate toadying :
Mercedes would never let us make their railway car into a spoiled Decepticon . Car caller ’s really frown on that – I ca n’t say what the game company and comic do that ’s their own thing . They do n’t have the same constraints movies do . It ’s Carly ’s gondola .

Matt Smith explains how he sees the relationship between the Doctor and Amy :
“ The Doctor will always enjoy Amy , but he loves her the way you would a admirer , a skillful friend . I call back the Doctor have a go at it Amy Pond , he ’s adequate to of love the great unwashed , but he ’s an extraterrestrial … he does n’t see beloved in the conventional way we see it . ”

Steven Moffat discusses the mid - series cliffhanger episode “ A Good Man go to War . ” This really does appear to be the Doctor ’s finest hour :
“ If you take someone like the Doctor and really piss him off , if you set yourself up to go to warfare with the Doctor , what would happen ? evidently you ’d suffer , it would be a monumental , crushing licking , but what side of the Doctor does it convey out ? He ’s really quite open of being really unpleasant to the great unwashed . Of course he is . He ’s a man like anyone else . If you treat Amy with extraordinary cruelty , how long would you populate after that ? ”
He also suggests that the Doctor will lose some of the infamy he ’s build up up in recent age , which he acknowledge was taken to its coherent extreme in his big Stonehenge speech in “ The Pandorica Opens ” :

“ There ’s an ongoing thing that the Doctor has become far more illustrious than he ever intended to be . Well , you would , if you ’d done all those things in one life-time . My God , the great unwashed would initiate to notice you . You would be some incredible caption . We ’ve start to diddle with this idea – which I think back Russell [ T Davies ] was so keen to avoid in the first series – with Chris Eccleston – of the Doctor being this great and famous hero , even though that ’s not what he intended to be . He never wanted to be that . But you ca n’t annul it . If the Doctor is handle with life forms that he ’s defeated on multiple occasions , it ’s not like they have n’t mark . It ’s not like they have n’t written it down . You are sound to be able to remain firm up at Stonehenge and say ‘ Who ’s first ? calculate at the score sheet , and take your near shot . ’ It ’s blend to happen . At the same time , he ca n’t keep doing that . It could be quite detrimental for the show . So it ’s something that I ’m make for to a fountainhead , and kind of end . ”

John Barrowman talks up the upcoming serial publication and why he no longer can do his own stunts :
“ There is so much more we can do with Torchwood now having made the spring to America . The budgets are liberal , the stunts are more dangerous and the intimate alchemy is more volatile . The stunt work is unbelievable . The audience is go to need a forklift motortruck to peck their jaws off the priming coat . I used to do a lot of stunt except if it was jumping off buildings but now I ’m not allowed to because of the indemnity insurance . I ’m much more valuable in America . I ’m leaving stunt work to the professionals . ”
