Your weenie is not going to miss you after the automaton revolt . In a recent experiment with sociable golem — who are designed to emulate human societal behaviour — scientists found that wienerwurst learned quickly how to interact with robots just as if they were human .
The scientists designed two experiments — one with a social automaton that spoke with a human voice , displayed a human case on its monitor / head , and had hands ; and one with an asocial robot that give off beeps . To signal to the dog that the societal golem was , well , social , the homo would verbalize to it and escape from its paw . Then , the robot would talk to the dog and drop food for thought for it . Meanwhile , the asocial robot just beeped . The dog responded to the social robot as if it were an unfamiliar person .

While the dogs did n’t interact with the robot to the same extent that they unremarkably do with humans , they spend more time hanging out near the automaton or looking at its touchscreen head when the automaton deport socially . They were better at find hidden food in the room when the social robot pointed to it , rather than the asocial one , though neither held a wax light to the solution when a human being channelise to the food .
There you have it , folks . With just a piece of training , your dogs are glad to play with robots instead of you . Interestingly , one of the investigator on this study , Eniko Kubinyi , has also spell about how human race interact with dog automaton , too .
