Google ’s new privateness policy has alreadycaused a stir among users . Now , Congress and EU regulators are sniffing around the changes and are n’t happy about them — but Google does n’t seem to manage in the slender .

According to The Hill , house lawmakers wonder Google representatives for two hours yesterday about the changes , but they still are n’t satisfied with the company ’s explanations . Speaking to The Hill , Representative Mary Bono Mack said :
“ By being more dim-witted , [ the privacy policy ] is in reality more complicated … At the end of the day , I do n’t think their result to us were very forthcoming necessarily in what this really means for the safety of our families and our children . ”
manifestly Congress is implicated about how much participation users have in protect their own privacy , but Google ’s answer did n’t satisfy when it come to deletion and long - term reposition of user data point . “ There ’s a growing angst in the Congress about privateness — there ’s no interrogation , ” added Mack .
Elsewhere , EU regulator are asking Google to delay the secrecy policy roll out , according to Reuters . “ Given the wide compass of services you offer , and the popularity of these service , change in your seclusion policy may touch on many citizen in most or all of the EU appendage states , ” the EU ’s Data Protection Working Party wrote in a letter to Larry Page yesterday . “ We wish to check the potential consequences for the protection of the personal datum of these citizen in a coordinated way . ” They did n’t say how long they ask , but then , who knows if Google will even agree .
All told , Google is lay down a circle of enemies over their change in secrecy policy and at this pace the negative chemical reaction shows only sign of growing . Even though Google is a private society , which means in possibility it can do whatever it damn well pleases so long as it ’s sound , there may amount a stop where the opposition sense they ask to stand their land .
