Cloak & Dagger‘s Second Season Is Off to a Blindingly Good Start

Cloak & Dagger ’s first seasonfeatured a grand , but predictable , comic book - y plot , but the tangible tie of the show was the attentive characterization that follow from the clip the serial spent focusing on Tyrone and Tandy ’s lives as “ regular ” young citizenry . Despite their racial divergence and disparate economic position , they were both struggling to find their way through a world trying to sustain them back .

After being framed for obliterate a law officer , Tyrone ’s now hiding in the abandoned Christian church where Tandy once squatted , and following a rapprochement with her female parent , Tandy ’s moved back home in an endeavor to have something closer to a normal life . But Cloak & Dagger is still a Freeform cape show , which means that it ’s get to spend at least some meter set up this season ’s larger scoundrel conflict , and the first episode does it carefully with the return of investigator Brigid O’Reilly ( Emma Lahana ) , who ’s suffering from the injury of having apparently died during the first season .
