El Niño ’s been very busy blasting the West Coast ( and everywhere else ) with storm . Now Folsom Lake , one of themost famous lakes to be depleted by California ’s drouth , has surpassed its average water level for early February and willsoon reach capacityfor this fourth dimension of class .
Last month , Lake Oroville made headlines when itrose 20 animal foot in 10 days . Folsom Lake was also busy fill up — although not as quickly ; it rose 30 feet in 30 sidereal day — and the reservoir has now achieved something quite famous for beingon the brink of disasterjust two months ago . The lake is at levels that are above what this date has seen throughout history , reports ABC10 , and climb . For the first time in several years , engineers will have to resolve what to do with all that extra water , which might include releasing some from the dam . Although the reservoir is only about one-half full , hydrologists can only occupy it to sure levels at different clip of year to prevent implosion therapy .
