TheCaptain Marvelstar, 31, posted a video on Monday as she covered theHigh School Musical: The Musical: The Seriesstar’s song “Jealousy, Jealousy.”

Larson channeled Rodrigo’s angsty tone as she strummed her electric guitar and sung the song from the singer’s debut albumSour.

“I kinda wanna throw my phone across the room / ‘Cause all I see are girls too good to be true / With paper-white teeth and perfect bodies / Wish I didn’t care,” the Marvel star sang before diving into the chorus, “I’d rather be, rather be / Anyone, anyone else / But jealousy, jealousy / Started followin’ me / Started followin' me.”

TheAvengersstar received several compliments on Instagram from fans who are just as obsessed with Rodrigo’s music as she is.

Rodrigo, 18, debuted her albumSourin May and her lyrics have attracted people from Larson toTaylor SwiftandKim Kardashian— although the KKW Beauty mogul’sdaughter North West has some counterclaims.

TheHSMTMTSstar spoke to PEOPLE in June abouther songwriting processand revealed that when she doesn’t like her music she tells herself, “Sometimes you got to get the bad songs out before the good ones come.”
