This ridiculous Apple corporate picture was used during the Macintosh rollout in January of 1984 . It played before Steve Jobs took the stage . My , how keynotes have exchange ! I only wish Apple still produced comedic treasure / ripoffs of current chart - toppers for keynotes like this . For the full narrative behind this video from the man who rip it from his personal collection for the delectation of the internet , come to the start .
This was a bodied song that was used during the Macintosh rollout in January , 1984 . I heard it live , in Manhattan , before Steve Jobs aim the level to innovate the Macintosh and the Modern line of Lisa computer system .
The copy that ’s been out on the net was moderately ratty looking for , with dropout in the video and the sound . I digitized and restored this interlingual rendition from a first coevals VHS tape in my personal library . I also extracted the sound recording and enhanced it in my home studio apartment to give it some more punch and slenderize the noise .

So , if you are into engineering , Apple corporate history , or computing , you will revel this . if you ’re not , and you just like the videos of me and my family and my spoilt jokes — do n’t watch it , because the song is really crummy and is a blatant ripoff of Irene Cara ’s “ Flashdance ” song .
triviality : when I saw this ‘ experience ’ at the Mac introduction , we , as Apple Dealers , all express joy OUR ASSES OFF at time mark 02:47 – when the guy cable carry a 60 pound LISA computer under his arm like it was a laptop !
